PSA: The Disease Mind

Touching on mental health

Target audience

People suffering from depression, those who have been gone through depression and the public. This is to inspire those who have been through such an experience to share with others on ways to cope with it. The final product is to be shown in social media during peak hours for example in the evenings and at night. People at night may encounter a trigger or they might even be relaxed

Emotions the audience should feel

Public- understanding, compassion and humanity

Depressed people- lonely, unappreciated, sympathized

People who have undergone this mental illness- empathy, motivated, sentimental

Shared values between your video and your audience?

Public: Creating awareness on this well-known mental illness helps them to be more open-minded

People suffering from depression/ recovering from depression: Having a sudden realization on their well-being and maybe trigger them to seek help

Those who have gone through depression before: Honesty to share their experiences and not leave this issue in the dark. Speaking up on behalf of those who are still suffering from depression.

PSA: Quarantine Depression

Target Audience

Teenagers to youths from 18 years to 21 years. The best time to show this video to the audience is when it is during the day when depression hasn’t hit most of the people at all. For the public, it is better for them to be more aware of quarantine depression when they are most awake during the day.

Truthfully, depression hits anytime and anywhere depending on the person. However, if the video is constantly watched by the audience then somehow it can encourage them to seek help.

What kind of emotion do you want your audience to feel?

Public: Creating awareness on this well-known mental illness helps them to be more open-minded. Checking up on friends and family’ well being in quarantine.

People suffering from depression/ recovering from depression: acceptance from the public. Realizing that they are mentally unhealthy, and this would maybe trigger them to seek help and counselling online.

Those who have gone through depression before: Honesty to share their experiences through various platforms and not leave this issue in the dark. Speaking up on behalf of those who are still suffering from depression.
